September 2026 - Luke performs in Sunday in the Park with George as Jules/Ensemble at Lake Country Playhouse in Hartland, WI. Performances running now--get tickets here!

Fall 2026 - Luke is thrilled to begin teaching part-time at Trinity Lutheran School in Mequon, WI. He will be leading their piano lab courses and offering voice lessons to their students. What a joy to share music with students in a Christ-centered context.

In the last year

July 2026 - Music directs CUW Theatre's summer youth theatre camp production of Cinderella, Jr.

June 2026 - Performs a staged reading of Lock of the Irish, written by Joe Nolan and directed by Sandra Renick. This heartwarming story was a delight to bring to life for the first time.

May 2026 - Performs a recital at St. John's on the Lake through the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. His set featured Dvorak's Biblical Songs and several originals.

April 2026 - Performs for the littles again at Barton Elementary through the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music.

April 2026 - Facilitates Concordia University Wisconsin's inaugural Christian High School Theatre Competition and Workshop! This all-day event gave Christian Theatre kids from throughout southeastern Wisconsin a chance to hone their improv, audition, and monologuing skills in a supportive, fellowship-centered context.

April 2026 - Sings with Milwaukee Chamber Choir. The program features Whitacre's Five Hebrew Love Songs and Finzi's Seven Unaccompanied Part Songs (with poetry by Robert Bridges), as well as some Gibbons, Vaughan Williams, and of course a morsel of Meredith Wilson. Luke will be soloing in Vaughan Williams's "Serenade to Music."

April 2026 - Toured with the Carroll Chamber Singers from Carroll University as a bass sub. What fun to learn fifteen beautiful choral pieces and re-live the fun of a collegiate choir!

March 2026 - Performed an Educational Performance for the littles at WCM's downtown location. It was a blast!

March 2026 - Performed a recital at Saint John's on the Lake through the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, collaborating with Kai-I Tien. Repertoire included everything from jazz to hymns to art song!

Feb 2026 - Facilitated a musical theatre workshop at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School through Concordia University Wisconsin's Theatre department. He and CUW students focused on song analysis and expressive techniques. It was a blast!

Feb 2026 - Performed on a Faculty Recital with the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music at their downtown MKE location. He performed "Five Songs for Young Baritone," specially written classical pieces for young men with developing changed voices.

Feb 2026 - Performs with awesome opera people at Amorphic Beer. In addition to making an improvised appearance as Frederic from Pirates of Penzance, he performed a set featuring five original art songs written to highlight the vocal strengths of young baritones. It's high time middle and high school guys had some classical rep that feels good to sing!

Jan. 2026 - Facilitates a vocal techniques workshop at Living Word Lutheran High School in Jackson, WI. He and the students explored laryngeal anatomy and physiology, related it to different experienced vocal functions, and analyzed the use of those functions across genres.

Jan. 2026 - Attends the WMEA/WCDA Winterlude micro-conference, where he learns about elementary music education and Comprehensive Musicianship through Performance with Miriam Altman. 

Dec. 2025 - Performs as 1940's Bing and son Harry Crosby in Bing Crosby - Christmas on the Air with Greendale Community Theatre. This staged radio/TV special featured nostalgic Christmas tunes from Bing's iconic holiday catalog. Luke's favorite songs to perform are "The Christmas Song" and "Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy."

Sept. 2025 - The children's choir at Luther Memorial Chapel in Shorewood, WI and the Harwood Chorus at Harwood Place in Wauwatosa, WI begin their second year under his direction.

June/July 2025 - Attends the Acoustic Vocal Pedagogy Online Course, taking observed individual lessons with Ian Howell, Chadley Ballantyne, and Ken Bozeman. The experience deepened his fascination with acoustics, revolutionized his teaching, and sparked a keen interest in functional vocal training. He also manages to convert Ian Howell's Hearing Singing into beach reading.

June 2025 - Music directs Moana, Jr., CUW Theatre's inaugural youth summer Theatre camp. The three-week experience taught him the joy of youth MT, the importance of relying on a team, and many songs he now wants to forget.

Mar 2025 - Prepares and coordinates three touring performances of The Final Week in Jerusalem with CUW Theatre, performing as a swing. Written by Lori Woodall and Ryan Schauffler, this moving staged radio drama harmonizes the Gospel reports of the events surrounding Jesus' death and resurrection.

Feb 2025 - Understudies the Moon in Milwaukee Opera Theatre's Rusalka. Pure opera fun with magical opera people.

Dec 2024 - Carols with Wisconsin Dickens Carolers.

Nov 2024 - Sings in his first concert with Milwaukee Chamber Choir, soloing briefly in Britten's "Hymn to St. Cecilia."

Sept 2024 - Is hired at CUW as Theatre Recruiter.

Sept 2024 - Begins work at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music as a teaching artist in their community partnerships program and as a private voice instructor.

Sept 2024 - Begins directing the inaugural children's choir of Luther Memorial Chapel in Shorewood, WI.

Fall 2024 - Organ lessons!

June 2024 - Attends the triannual LCMS Worship Institute as a Youth Choir Camp Counsellor, representing his alma mater. He performed an original art song "When Mother Reads Aloud" in recital and relished the community around making beautiful sacred music with his church community.

May 2024 - Graduates from Concordia University Wisconsin with a BA in Music.

Feb. 2024 - Has the time of his life performing as Don Lockwood in Singin' in the Rain and garners a KCACTF Irene Ryan nomination. Just aren't quite words to describe how marvelously perfect the experience and people were. He also achieved a lifetime goal of tapping on stage.

June/July 2023 - Serves as Voice Fellow (pedagogy focus) at Lutheran Summer Music, where he took voice and pedagogy lessons with Daniel Greco, maintained a private voice studio, performed in several recitals, assisted with and led Liz Gray's class voice course, and met so many fascinating musicians.
